The Orange Revolution Begins July 23
On July 23, 2002, the head of British intelligence reported that Bush and Cheney were intent on invading Iraq and planned to "fix the intelligence and facts around the policy". Five years later a million people have died in Iraq as a direct result of these lies with no end in sight. Torture has been institutionalized, habeas corpus eviscerated, and illegal spying made routine. New Orleans lies devastated along with the Constitution and the rule of law. And Bush and Cheney are making a mockery of the Democrats' feeble gestures towards accountability.

Impeachment in the News
Great Barrington (MA) voters overwhelmingly approved (by a vote of over 100 for to 3 against) an impeachment resolution at their town meeting after a thorough and wide-ranging discussion of Bush and Cheney's high crimes and misdemeanors. John Lippman, who spearheaded the initiative, remarked: "There was much exuberance during and after the vote and clearly those voters who approved the item felt that they were part of something bigger then just what happened in our little town this evening. It felt like most people had their intentions clear when they arrived and the level of support took me by surprise."
