Impeach Bush for Selling Port Security to the United Arab Emirates
Another Urgent Reason to Impeach George Bush
Long before George Bush approved the sale of U.S. port contracts to a company owned by the government of the United Arab Emirates, a majority of Americans already supported Bush's impeachment:
- 52% of Americans think Bush should be impeached for wiretapping Americans without a judge's approval
- 53% of Americans think Bush should be impeached for lying about Iraq
Now we have one more urgent reason for impeachment: George Bush puts the profits of his foreign oil cronies ahead of the security of the United States.
UAE citizen Marwan Al-Shehhi slammed Flight 175 into the World Trade Center. Eleven hijackers came through UAE, and half their money. A.Q. Khan shipped nuclear parts through UAE to North Korea and Iran. UAE has never recognized Israel, but it was one of just 3 countries to recognize the Taliban government of Afghanistan.
Recently USA Today published an article entitled "Bin Laden's operatives still using freewheeling Dubai." This is frighteningly similar to the August 2001 Presidential Daily Briefing that Bush ignored, entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US." Will Bush's reckless neglect produce the same disastrous results in a year or two?
Yet despite citizen outrage from coast to coast, Bush wants to veto any law to stop UAE from operating 6 vital U.S. ports.
The port deal reflects all of the worst corruption of the Bush Administration:
- Bush had no idea the deal was under review by his top officials
- The deal was pushed by Treasury Secretary John Snow, the former CEO of CSX who sold his port operations to - you guessed it - Dubai World Ports!
- The deal was approved by Michael Chertoff, the utterly incompetent Secretary of Homeland Security

As attorneys, we believe your oath to defend the Constitution
can only be fulfilled by introducing Articles of Impeachment against President George Bush and Vice President Richard Cheney.
Four Articles have been published by the Center for Constitutional Rights in its recent book, "Articles of Impeachment Against George W. Bush." These Articles cover:

2) Iraq War
3) Detention and Torture
4) Abuse of Power
