LIVONIA, MI – Progressive Democrats of America’s “Organize, Mobilize and Deliver the Progressive Vote: 2006 Michigan Victory Tour” will roll into town on Sunday, Oct. 22, for a rally in support of Tony Trupiano for Congress that will feature Rep. John Conyers, PDA National Board Member activist Cindy Sheehan and the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr.
“Tony Trupiano is a force of nature,” said PDA Executive Director Tim Carpenter, who also will speak at the rally. “He is a leading voice in progressive talk radio and has written several books. Now he is running for Congress and we are proud to support and aid him in any way we can.”
The event is scheduled to run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will be held at the Unity Church of Livonia, 28660 Five Mile Road in Livonia.
