Montanans, through Montana Partners for Impeachment [1] are leading their state legislators to move on the impeachment of George W. Bush and Richard Cheney.
On January 10th, Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) said on the Senate floor: "If we knew then what we know now, I would not have voted for the war. If we knew then what we know now, I believe that results of that vote would have been different. The administration was not up front with us."
The Montana Partners for Impeachment group's resolution [2] focuses on four provable impeachment articles being prepared by Montanans to protect the integrity of our country: warrantless surveillance, lying to congress about Iraq, torturing prisoners, and subverting the separation of powers.
Montanans can add their name [3] to the updated legislative letter sent to Helena and forward it to the State Legislature's Floor Leader [4].
